Beta versions of upcoming Paper Mache releases are publically available. The beta version installs with a seperate application ID and appear as "Paper Mache BETA" in your application list, so it can be used on the same device as the regular production release of Paper Mache. You can manually download and install the IPK, or visit the Beta link to the Application Catalog to install directly on your device.

Notes:
- Bug fix - Article text failed to parse with API change. Fixed.
Known Issues:
- webOS 1.4/2.0/2.1 devices do not support "paged" reading mode - marked disabled.
- Phone version still has performace issues - for example when window is resized such as when there are notifications.
- Phone version does not support landscape mode
- Phone version scroll indicator in articles will likely 'lag' behind movement.
- Pre3 Preferences page and Browse page occassionally hangs. Close and restart to take effect.
- Tilt does not work when the system has set Rotation Lock.
- Turning on 'tilt' tends to disable normal scrolling interaction.
- Tap-and-hold of a folder or bookmark will cause text selection in the article.
- Text selection likely only works on webOS 3.0.
- No direct way to "Move to Unread" from custom folders

- This is a fairly extensive update. Numerous internal elements have changed. Please report issues.
- Add support for all webOS 2.0+ devices including the Pre+, Pre2, and Veer. Requires new HP Maps application. webOS 1.x lacks needed localStorage.
- New "Browse for Articles" and add them directly in Paper Mache. Pulls articles from givemesomethingtoread.com, nytimes.com and newyorker.com, preview article and then click "Read Later" to directly add.
- Support for "tilt to scroll" and "tilt to page" in TouchPad In Preferences "Enable Tilt Scroll". Then toggle "Tilt" On in the toolbar to begin tilting (this sets the 'origin' for the motions). When in "paged" mode you can quickly tilt the device to the left or right and then back, to go forward or back a page. When in "scroll" model you can tilt the device back or forward to slowly scroll up or down. Tilt very far back or forward to immediatley scroll to top or bottom. Quickly tilt up or down, and then back to scroll a single page up or down.
- Switched to Lawnchair framework for article storage. On first run of this version you will need to re-download all your articles as this is a new DB format.
- Cache last read articles in localstorage for faster application startup and switching between articles
